Adam and I are often making dips and sauces. Adam calls me “The Queen of Dips” – ha! I must admit I’m kind of a whiz when it comes to improvising in the kitchen. I don’t like recipes, I like being creative with what we have already in the kitchen and I hope this video encourages you to do the same.

Join Adam and me as we make this first time recipe for an onion dip that can go with just about anything. If you don’t have exactly the ingredients we used, no problem! Just use what you have and experiment. You can make all the adjustments you need to get it to your preferred taste and consistency. Have fun with it!

Here’s our version of a tangy, creamy Green Onion Dip Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup raw Cashews, Pine Nuts or raw Macadamia nuts (pre soak in water if possible)
  • 1/2 cup Sauerkraut Juice or water (use it rather than throw it away!)
  • 1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2-3 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt (add more to taste)
  • 1/4 cup of Kefir
  • 1 tbsp Lime (about 1/2 of a Lime)
  • 1/2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 handful of fresh Green Onions chopped into small pieces
  • optional, add a half jalapeño without seeds for a kick

Preparation:

Throw it all in and blend away. No really, it’s that easy.

Add more nuts to make it thicker.

This dip is great on chicken, tacos, drizzled on potatoes, or as a veggie dip. You can go anywhere with this dip/sauce. Embrace the ingredients you have, mess around with it, have fun, and be creative! We’d love to hear how you used it, so let us know! #Bethanystylehealth

Keep being healthy and keep taking care of yourself. Have fun in kitchen and have fun with family and friends!

In Month 3 – Optimize Health in my Unstoppable Year Course I talk with Dustin Dillberg about nutritional health as one of the four keys to great health. It is amazing how small intentional changes in your buying/eating habits (buying local, shopping the perimeter of the store, sneaking in veggies whenever you can) can help you become more of a “qualitarian” and practice great self-care by filling your body with quality foods.

Come join us in the course where we aim to equip you with big visions and small doable steps to living your own awesome (and healthy) Unstoppable life!
