Today I want to share with you some words of encouragement on the topic of

comparison.

Here are several quotes to encourage you to let go of comparing yourself to others in a negative way… my hope is that there are words here that you need to hear today!

Why compare…there is NO ONE like you! Be YOU. Own and harness who you are…fearfully

and wonderfully made. Live the best image of God that only you have been given. When we are secure in our unique and beautiful identity, comparison will not be as much of a problem.

These quotes make me think of social media. We are so often tricked into comparing ourselves to a really great (or edited) moment in time in someone else’s life. There is always so much more than meets the eye… for others and for ourselves.

Learn to recognize when you’re overvaluing what you don’t have, and undervaluing what you do have, so you can shift your focus to being thankful and proud of your unique abilities, talents, looks, opportunities and life. Don’t let comparison steal your joy! Or as I often say, celebrate and make the most of what you do have!

When we are living our most beautiful version of us then we can love those around us that much better and loosen that grip of comparison!

God made you, YOU. There is only one YOU that is, was, or will be.
