God’s Unending Love

Romans 8:38-39, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

These verses in Romans are packed with so much goodness that they deserve a solid slow look.

As I read over them, I am struck by the awesomeness of God’s design; His plan, that regardless of what comes our way, what we experience, what we lose or gain, Christ made sure that we would not be separated from Him.

Even in the moments when we know we’ve failed, fallen short, or taken a misstep, He is there, loving us. We can run from ourselves, we can burn relational bridges with those around us, but once we have faith in Jesus, we can never shake Him. God loves you with compassion and acceptance. He’s in it with us for ETERNITY. As in infinite time!

And while eternity can be a challenging concept to understand, God’s words to us in Hebrews 13:5, are like a welcomed warm hug from a best friend, “…I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Thank you Jesus.

God, Today I am filled with gratitude that your faithfulness for me is steadfast. Thank you and help me to lean into that truth when I feel weak. Thank you for loving me from the beginning until the very end. May I move forward knowing your truth above all, and move in confidence and joy. -Amen.
