You Are Loved

Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Sometimes this life can feel so overwhelming. The hardships in this world, the sin we struggle with, the real pains we experience, or just the long lists of things we need to get done; all of this can so often feel like too much.

How can we face this life sanely? Where can we find rest and peace in the chaos?

We can find it in His love and kindness. Why? Because you are loved by God.

God sent His son to die for us on the cross, and the grace that covers our sin is also what can bring us comfort and peace through all the gnarly and overwhelming things we face.

God has created you to be His: a daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, colleague, student.

And this can be amazing! We may still face challenges, but we know that God has us in the palm of His hand and we are going to get through it!

We can go to bed and wake up laying our burden in prayer to the Lord because He cares. We can go forth and be His. We can be our best and do our best; but really just be His and that is more than enough.

When you’re unstoppable, you live in God’s love.
