God Gives Rest

The emphasis of this verse is that God’s presence is given first and then rest follows. It is in God’s presence -not our own strength or will power- that we are able to find peace, comfort, and the courage needed to slow down and rest.
And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” – Exodus 33:14 (ESV)
