Psalm 143:8 says, “Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.”
God’s word is my constant source of truth. It’s where I place my trust and where I discover the life He’s called me to. God has so many beautiful gifts for us. His word is one of them.
I love it when my day begins with scripture like the Psalm says. I’m always thankful to have a moment to slow down. Many days that time for me is when my boys are napping and Adam is working outside.
What a gift to hear His truth as I read scripture.
I love being assured of His promises, these bring my life contentment and peace beyond understanding.
When I’m unstoppable, I find time to slow down and listen to God.

Dear God,
Just like the Psalm says, “Let me hear of your steadfast love.” Help me to put my trust in you. “Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.” -Amen
