Meet Baby Micah!

Welcoming our son Micah Ward Dirks into the world! He is our sweet Valentine baby!

It’s been a wonderful month sharing life with Micah. He’s healthy, and so am I, gratefully. We are easing in to a family of 5 …haha… Adam and I are officially out numbered!

Our first boys were colicky and Micah has been a lot easier, so Adam and I are stoking! Big bros have been so loving and really owning the big brother role! We are so thankful for our family and the role to raise them up to be brave, kind and respectable men in this wild world we live in.

Grateful to God for our growing family. And looking forward to sharing more with you all.

Micah Dirks

For the Name Game, there were 1,974 total entries. It was a tough one. Out of all those who played, 16 of you guessed we would choose the name Micah! Wow, I’m impressed! Out of the correct guesses, the random winner we selected is: Gabriela!!

Yes, Micah is a boy. Since we didn’t find out the gender in advance, we were just as surprised as most of you! There were 3,349 total entries for the ‘guess the gender’ game, and 78.89% (2,642) of you guessed GIRL. Maybe wishful thinking?! Out of the 21.11% (707) of you who correctly guessed BOY, the winner chosen is: Courtney!!

Micah was born on February 14, 2021 at 7:36pm.

There were 1,948 total entries into the game guessing the date and time the baby would be born. Two (2) of the players had the closest guesses without going over, and the winner is: Brandee!!

At birth, Micah weighed 8lb 8 oz, and was 21 1/4 inches long.

Guessing baby’s birth weight and length was one of the more challenging games. Out of the 2,516 total entries, there were two (2) correct guesses (well, closest guesses without going over). The winner selected is Maddy B!
