Mango Banana Smoothie Recipe

  • Cooking Time 5 mins

  • Servings 4-5

  • Health Benefit Good Source of Protein and Fresh Fruit

I’m so stoked to share my Mango Banana Smoothie with you! Smoothies have been one of my favorite foods since probably the beginning of time and definitely still are today.

They are also hands-down a family-favorite! They just fuel the family for all the adventure, fun and hard work we have each day.

Smoothies are great when you need something quick and easy, like when you’re on the go to work or the beach, and they’re such a good dose of fresh fruit! Lately I’ve been craving fresh citrus so I’ve been adding it to everything! And the bananas are fresh from my yard – so stoked to have a thriving banana tree!! 😁

It’s super important to me that my smoothies are packed with protein so that they sustain me with energy throughout the day. Primal Kitchen’s Collagen Peptides (I use the unflavored peptides in this recipe, but I also love the chocolate flavor for other recipes) are a great source of protein so I add a hefty scoop of those and plenty of raw milk too!

We love making food together as a family and smoothies are so great for this because we all throw stuff in the blender and just see how it turns out! The boys love adding things and then watching them get blended together. You can’t really mess a smoothie up and that’s the beauty of it – every one is slightly different!

I hope you like it as much as we do! Here’s the info:

Ingredients:
  • 1-2 cups Coconut Water (fresh is always best!)
  • 2 cups Milk (raw and from local, grass-fed cows preferably!)
  • 2 Small Bananas or 1 Regular Banana (freeze ahead of time for a creamier result)
  • 2 cups Frozen Mango
  • 1 Small Orange (for juicing)
  • 1 scoop of Primal Kitchen Unflavored Collagen Peptides
  • A Handful of Ice
  • Sprinkle of Bee Pollen (for garnish!)
Instructions:

Pour the milk & coconut water into the blender. Add the mangos and bananas and then cut the orange in half and squeeze the juice into the blender. Next, add Primal Kitchen’s Unflavored Collagen Powder and the ice. Blend it all up and pour it into cups. Sprinkle a little bee pollen over the top and then you’re good to go!

Now that you’re fueled up, you’re ready for the day! Go rock it! 🙂
