As I’ve become a mom, I’ve had a greater sense of urgency to be more present every day – an urgency to “be all there” for my boys, without distractions pulling me from being the mom they need.
I want them to see my eyes and I want to hear every word they say and see the sweet, silly things they do! As I’ve worked towards being more present and setting more boundaries with my phone, work, tv, and the many other distractions life throws my way, I have realized it is a huge challenge, an uphill climb most of the time. In order to live differently, to push away distractions, and be more present in our own lives, I believe we all need encouragement in this area.
