Changing Lives | Teens Serving Teens

I am passionate about teenage girls and the tomorrow they will lead. 

Today’s teenage youth culture can be a very “me, me, me” self-focused culture. Between “selfies”, Tik Tok and image obsessed driven movies, this self absorption can lead to increased self-consciousness, depression, insecurity and anxiety in our young girls. 

I want to offer an antidote.

I am partnering with 24 teenage girls to dare to dream and do something significant for others.  They will be gathering in Southern California in OCTOBER 2023 to come together for a single impact purpose: 

To transform the lives of other teenagers in crisis through the power of God, family & community.

 

This Summer, these 24 girls will collectively begin praying for who specifically God is calling our group to help, and the best way to touch their lives in a meaningful way. 

This process of letting the 24 teenage girls dream, get in touch with their heart and comb the world for who specifically they can bless will change them.

Teenage girls, alongside me, will …

                        • Love the hurting
                        • Create positive change in dark places
                        • Bring hope to the hopeless.

 

When they do that, we will see something remarkable happen.  Teenage souls rise in purpose, confidence, leadership, inner satisfaction, and joy.  Additionally, the teenagers in crisis who are being served receive care from their peers and are touched in a unique way from the love of other teenagers whom they’d never even met.

This project has a DOUBLE IMPACT Mission: 

  • The first is to take these 24 teenage girls and turn them into leaders who inspire positive change for tomorrow.

  • The second is to deeply impact 30 other teenage girls in crisis.

We are looking to host an extraordinary event of excellence and beauty for the girls in crisis. We are looking for passionate donors to make this vision become a reality.

*We have a partnership with the National Christian Foundation (NCF). Donations made here are allocated to our “Ohana Waves Legacy fund,” a component fund of NCF, subject to NCF’s full discretion and control.

I did this pursuit with 14 other girls last September and 18 girls this Spring, and the result was mind blowing. The profound confidence growth and inner stability in those girls was astonishing and my team is compelled to step into the dreaming and doing with another group.

Three words describe this mission:  Beautiful. Life Changing. Profound.
