RECIPE: Green Basil Pesto

I absolutely love basil, it’s my favorite herb! I google searched “health benefits of basil” a while back and read that basil is anticancer, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and is full of many nutrients, minerals and vitamins that are essential for good health!

I have about 8 basil plants so I make a lot of pesto dips! I hope you enjoy!

Add all ingredients below, in this order, in a food processor.

– 2 cups Macadamia Nuts
– 1/2 cup Raw Pumpkin Seeds
– bunch of Basil
– Few cloves of Garlic
– Dash of Sea Salt (to taste)
– Dash of Pepper
– Chili flakes (if you like a dash of spice)
– 1/2 to 1 cup of olive oil

I like to eat the basil pesto dip with crackers and veggie sticks. I also put it in seaweed wraps, other wraps, with veggies and so forth!
