3 Fish Salad Recipe
Summer time is just around the corner and when I think of summer, I think of lots of extra beach time! But, with 3 hungry boys, I always have to be prepared good snacks for the beach.
This 3 Fish Salad (think tuna salad, but with salmon and sardines also!) is my go-to snack on beach days and one of our family favorites. All the boys love it – even little Micah! It’s really simple to make and you can eat it on crackers or with bread as a sandwich!
We usually mix in whatever fresh ingredients we have in our fridge, but this recipe has carrots, celery, relish, and fresh cilantro.
I can whip this out in 5-10 minutes. I love that it’s easy and fast and everyone is stoked!
Let’s start makin’ it!
3 Fish Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 can of tuna
- 1 can of salmon
- 1 can of sardines
- 1/2 cup of Primal Kitchen Mayo (or Primal Kitchen Chipotle Mayo)
- 2 Tbls of Primal Kitchen Spicy Brown Mustard
- 1 shredded carrot
- 4 sticks of celery chopped
- 1 cucumber chopped
- 1/2 cup of sweet relish
- 1/2 cup of plain yogurt
- Cilantro (optional)
- Add Salt if needed
(I recommend that all fish is wild & sustainably caught, if possible)
Instructions:
- Put the tuna, salmon and sardines in a bowl.
- Chop the celery and cucumber. Shred the carrots and then add all these veggies in with the fishes.
- Add Primal Kitchen Mayo (or Primal Kitchen Chipotle Mayo if you want a little kick 😅) and yogurt to the bowl. Add sweet relish and a couple squirts of Primal Kitchen’s Spicy Brown Mustard.
- Stir it up until everything is mixed together and the fish is a shredded up. Add cilantro and salt if desired.
Enjoy with crackers, on a sandwich or by the spoonful!
