Love poem

I wrote this short poem a few weeks ago. Its pretty personal and I did not have the courage to share it with you until recently. Hope you like it!

Love poem

Forgive me for being distant lately
For not making time for You, for not seeking You with all that I am
Its been lonely and I’ve missed You
How is it that I return to the weak and beggarly element which I desire to be in bondage again
Please bring me back to You my first love
Let my hearts desire be of You
Let my life be a beautiful worship to You
Let me be stunning in your eyes
Let the joy you give me spark again
Not mine but Your will be done
Lord You are good and I love You

Hi Bethany, I really liked your poem. I am ten years old. I like to write poetry too, how funny! Sometime I do things with just my right hand, but the hardest things are definetly zippering my jacket and tying my shoes. That helped me understand how hard it is for you, even if you dont have to wear a jacket everyday. I am SUPER excited because i am going to california this summer for the first time, and i am going surfing. I also tried papaya, and it was pretty good. I am thinking about sending you a letter and even though you probably wont get to respond, I know that you are the kind of person who will try really, really hard to read all the letters. Oh, and also i am a fan of AnnaSophia. Please tell her that i loved all her movies, especially soul surfer. I love being in plays and i want to be a pro actor or a pro surfer someday. Have you read the Hunger games? best book ever (after soul surfer which i am doing a project about in school.) If Madge was going to be in the hunger games movie, I was almost certain AnnaSophia would play her. I asked the lord is a great song, which i learned from you. well, goodbye and god bless you for all that you have done for everybody and for the faith you have.
