A dramatic story of terror and triumph is being told in North Texas this weekend. Bethany Hamilton is talking about losing her arm in a vicious shark attack at 13, and then, turning into a “Soul Surfer.” She spoke about her journey back into the water.

At my school we have to do a weekly memo (Once a week) and this weeks topic is pick a person who inspires you. I couldn’t think of a better person to write about. It is unbelievable how strong you were in such a hard time. If i were you i couldn’t of handled it, you will be my life role model, none the less, you have probably heard this a thousand times but you changed my life with your story now i know when i get an obstacle don’t stop but figure out how to move it, please know that you are a inspiring person. and Bethany, always stay strong
