I would love to be able to meet you!!! i have seen the movie and i will admit……. i cried. Ever since the movie i have talked about you non-stop. my family used to get annoyed. i saw your book in a store and begged my mom to get it. i read it all day and all night. i would die if i met you!! you are the person i look up to. i always beg my mom to let me surf. my parents are thinking about getting me my first surfboard! i want one like yours! when the movie came into theaters my mom asked me if i wanted to see Rio or rango and i said no i want to see soul surfer! so i hope you come down to florida.

I love coming on here and seeing all of the comments about kendall’s make a wish trip. it was so much fun and I loved learning how to surf with you! 

I am really inspired about what people have been writing on here… Kendall is almost done with treatment and I have not lost sight of hope yet! My family and I finally see the light at the end of the long tunnel, and once we get out we are gonna keep driving until we’re outta gas!

bethany you inspred me to not care about what people think about me. About two months ago i broke my leg and was put in a wheelchair. I had to use a lift togo up and down the stairs. Im in fourth grade in a scool with 4th 5thand 3rd graders. Every time i went down the halls in the wheel chair or rode the lift 3rd and 5th smetimes 4th graders wold laugh or wisper as theywalked up the stairs to go to lunch. I would use cruches at home and outin resteraunts and stores but thats it. When i was at six flags i was aloud toride stuff even roller coasters but when someone saw me they would laugh,stare.point or wisper about me.Once i was at a candle stor and this person would not stop asking what happend and looked at me like i was paralized. I finaly replied skateboarding but it was annoying awnewring the same queswstion 52 times soat school i started sayingweird things like i hit a car when i was driving or i fell of a roller coasrter. I was surprised 3rd graders belived me so i stoped awnsewring bethany you have taght me how to turn a bad thing in to somthing fun. I admit i actuly started hopeing everyone would ask so i could saw a funny thing.I dont care if throughout the rest of fourth and fith grade people think im weird or not normal but im not. Well i like to make people laugh because i like to make people have a fun time. Im perfectly healthy. I dontlike to hurt peoples feelings and most of all i lovebethany. If the kids in my school knew this i would never worry but they think im a weirdo thats extremly ill but i dont think there is any thing wrong with ill i justpretend that people know the actualy me when i hearsomthing mean or somthing that could be cept in someones mid

Im pretty sure most of us would have a little or a lot less faith without yourstory thatyou told the world. If you did not share your story i dk what i would be doing. You have helped me with lifetips with god and made me have more strenghth in god and fighting for stuff i belive that i can do.
