when i saw your story in theatures i was a changed person. i used to be so afraid of the water, or anything that involved the ocean. now i am a die heart surfer who cant get enough of the waves! when ever i am in a bad situation or i feel crumby, i always think to my self, ” rise above the impact zone” thank you for teaching me things no one else could.

Wow, I did a report on you Bethany and I got an A. I read your book and I loved it. I am Christian too. In a way I’m like you, if something bad is going on I know He is there for me. Mom recently had sugery and I thought she wasn’t going to make it. But she did, I knew that God was right there beside me and helping me throught it. When I read your book, I started crying. And when I saw Soul Surfer I totally cried.

When I was about 10 years old, I was bored and decided to read the newspaper, so I flip to the last pages, and I read about a surfer that lost an arm in a shark accident. At that moment I was truly inspired… and now, I am even more inspired because of her faith in God, and how she set her mind into surfing with one arm, and now, she is a pro surfer… Bethany, you are an amazingly brave person… you are truly blessed

you guys are very lucky to go surfing i wsh i could but i live in illinois but when i am older i am moving to Hawaii including my best friend we have it all planned out we are even saving up now to buy an indo board to help train to surf lol kinda funny when i am all the way in illinois but i will surf some day!!!
