Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton’s Amazing Comeback

Raised to surf from an early age, Bethany Hamilton’s left arm was bitten off by a tiger shark during a morning jaunt off the North Shore of Kauai when she was 13. Bethany narrowly survived. Yet a month later she jumped right back into the water and continued competing in – and winning – surf contests.
But while Bethany’s skill, determination, and unwavering faith were always getting stronger, she wasn’t as physically strong and well conditioned as she wanted to be. She wanted to surf bigger waves and to boost her stamina. At a charity auction, her surfer mom bid on, and won, a comprehensive chemical panel (a series of tests that reveal the status of your liver, kidneys, blood sugar etc.) at Dillberg Integrated Healthcare and TRX Studio. She gave it to Bethany.
